How often are you in Minneapolis? I would be very interested in a session after I recover from surgery in December…. I’m at Iraqi war vet that actually got injured in my stomach and I’m finally getting the surgery to make my stomach look normal again so I would really love to have this done as part of my healing process

Do you all have makeup and hair stylists to accommodate women of other ethnic groups? Specifically African American women with curlier hair and darker skin pigments? The pictures on Pinterest didn’t show a very diverse set of women, so I wanted to ask.
Hi Diane! Absolutely! Traci (our owner and makeup artist) has been doing this for many decades and has worked with many African American clients (both hair and makeup). That is no problem at all! The images from Pinterest are specifically from this year (and specifically pinup) – you will see some other work we’ve done with African American clients and models on our Facebook page.
So the short answer is – no problem! I will also point out that the images we publish are only those for which we received permission from the client to use. So these images only represent a portion of the clients we shoot (many prefer not to have their images published). We do shoot more caucasian women than any other ethnic group (we’d love the arrive at a better balance ourselves!), but we do work with more African American women in total numbers than are represented on, say, Pinterest.

How do you work with a pixie haircut?
Hey Megan! Lots of our pinup guests have pixies or other shorter hair styles. Obviously we can’t do victory rolls with shorter hair, but we can always do something fun with it so your hair compliments the pinup wardrobe, etc. Look through the images on our Facebook page to see some examples of what we’ve done with shorter hair.
